Documenting Memory through photography

This project is the chapter #2 of my photography work aiming at documenting memory of contemporary or recent conflicts (see "Comme on Peut").

These photographs are part of a project initiated in 2019, the aim of which is to document and question the weight of memory in the most recent conflict in Europe: the war in Bosnia and the Genocide of the Bosnian muslims population between 1992 and 1995.

This project addresses the question of the impact of individual and collective memory, as well as the different forms of resilience or mechanisms that allow survivors to continue to move forward despite the weight of their past.
